05. Tum Mile (Love Reprise) By Javed Ali - 4/5 - tempo toned down, interesting music arrangement when compared to the original
06. O Meri Jaan By KK - 4/5 - Yet another soft track,simple, catchy lyrics.

09. Soul of Tum Mile By Instrumental - 3.5/5 - starts slowly, picks up speed and tones down at the end. Not captivating.

1. Austerity : Total bakhwas. Politicians does lot of things to maintain their "image". This is one of the stunts. Why cant they stop taking bribes bcoz of recession ?

2. Indo - China Border - Times Now did some good coverage last week. India is unable to protect the fenced border with Pak., donno how much will India has got to fight to prove its point against china? let us see how this episode goes over next 10 years.

3. Racists attacks in australia are diturbing. Indians live all over the world., they should adapt, co-operate to local conditions and i sincerely believe they are good at it.

4. Serena Williams' trantrums in the US open semi final was sad. Is it about stardom?

5. On Chennai - every other road being dugged for storm water drainage improvement. Good., why cant they restore to the old contions at the earliest in prime areas? One stretch of road could not be used neat T.Nagar club and is creating enough traffic jam.

IFMR Alumini - Estuaire 09 meet

IFMR Alumini - Estuaire 09 meet was held on Saturday 12th Sep, 7pm.

I went with lot of hopes that i will meet some of batch mates, college mates. It was not meant to be !!!! None from my batch came, or the so called seniors were hardly some 10-14.

As usual, the recent batches were in full strength. The function was simple and oraganised well, managed well. Fine job folks.

So, one of my friend asked me, why you came., i joked i go where ever i get a free invite, or where ever banana leaf hangs....

All i can crib on my class mates, you folks need to improve !

02. Aaj Dil Gustakh Hai By Shreya Ghoshal, Sukhwinder Singh - 4/5 Catchy romantic tune. Lovely singing by Shreya, Sukh.

03. Fiqrana By Shreya Ghoshal, Vijay Prakash - 5/5 Another likabe tune, lovely techno beats; gains energy, momentum as it goes, feels heavenly when you repeat!

04. Bhoola Tujhe By Rashid Ali - 4/5 - Typical Rahman tune, arrangements but impressive

05. Blue Theme By Blaaze, Raqeeb Alam, Sonu Kakkar, Jaspreet Singh - 4.5/5 -- Have a blast with this fusion number

06. Rehnuma By Shreya Ghoshal, Sonu Nigam 4/5 - starts like a jazz, goes sufi with some james bond like music in between. Mysterious ride, i would say.

07. Yaar Mila Tha By Udit Narayan, Madhushree - 4/5 semi folk, catchy beat. i am in love with the teena humming !

Rahman comes out strongly after the Oscar Win. Thoroughly entertaining masala album without any experiments makes this one compulsory !
