Iconomic charcter of Quick Gun Murugan was created 12-15 years back with cross over of Cow Boy look with Rajani style and it became instantly popular. Finally, a movie is made based on the character.

What one should expect from its music?

Funny, silly nice one liners, tamilian accent of Hindi, easy music.... All these are available in this album. Hence, I am not going to rate it by song....

My best picks are Dialogue Mix, kyoon keeda, chat mangni, naam mera mangni & ragamuffin mix from this album.

Is Indian stock market immature?

Is Indian stock market act immature? This is the most lingering question i have. Our market lacks depth - that is for sure.

But immature? you might question....

i will explain this with two examples now...

1. Hindustan UniLever Q1FY10 schduled on July 28th. The stock prices was hovering around Rs.300 up from Rs.250 before 30-45days. CNBC's earnings estimate was 615 crore (10% up) and the earnings announced was Rs.543 crore vs Rs.558 crore.

Stock crashed from 303 to 270 in flat 20minutes. Lever was one of the heavy weights and this violent behaviour was unwelcome for a index stock.

2. Sesa Goa couple of days ago was trading at 250 levels. Government wanted to impose 10% royalty on iron ore mining activity - the news got flashed in cnbc. Sesa Goa plummeted to Rs.225 in the next 30min.

It is common for governments to levy royalty to mining companies world over. Is our analysts or traders not aware of this?

Both these recent cases confirm that indian stock markets lack depth, maturity and they simply over react with some herd mentality behaviour and our market participants lack contrarian view.

Ilaya Raja to Rahman

Speaking at the carnatic music based launch, Ilaiyaraaja said that "Some persons claim that all the fame 'goes' to the Lord. This is wrong; why would be a God be in need of fame. Isn't He the one who showers on us fame and popularity and money? How can we 'return' to Him the fame given to us by Him? It won't be proper at all!"

This comment is aimed at A R Rahman.

Temple for Lord Guberan

Self and some other friends went to a concept temple for Lord Guberan this morning. The temple is situated some 4-5KMs inside next to Vandalur zoo's compound. One's wealth is supposed to increase when you offer prayers to him regularly.

Temple is located at a small place called rathina mangalam. Temple is small but got some elegant and unique gods like Lord Ganesha with Lakshmi, Brahmma with Saraswathy.
It was a small homely temple and I liked it.

Crisis over Indian Air

Indian Airlines is in financial trouble... Praful Patil was the aviation minister during last term too. He could have pro-actively did something which he failed to do. Sad to see a good minister could not save a situation.

Atleast, he could have levied uniform tax for aviation fuel across India which is outatanding for the past 3 years or so.

Private airlines are badly placed to handle the crisis as they cant expected to get a bail out fron government. They are neither together nor cash rich. They are failing miserably to draw support and the strike move is a sad idea from crisis corrupted mind.

Let us see how Indian Airlines bail out plan would shape out before passing judgement on Praful's performance.
