Sensex outlook - post pranab's budget

My own interpretation of sensex outlook post Shri. Pranab's Budget:

Advantage

1. FMCG (ITC, Lever, Dabur), Tech (Infy, Wipro, TCS), Pharma (Cipla, Ranbaxy)

Disadvantage

1. Banks

Sensex might move in the range of 12,000 to 14,000 for the next couple of months. Outperformance days when compared to global trend would come down.

Harris Jeyaraj's Best Picturised Songs

Here I go with my rankings of best picturised songs of Harris Jeyaraj.

Opinion is based on combo - quality of picturisation and the tune. You are most welcome to improvise it.

# 1 - Ennai Konjan maatri from Kaaka Kaaka

Lovely camera work, nice tune, great home in lake, meaningful lyrics. I never get bored of seeing this video on music channels. Hence, voted as #1 by me

# 2 - Kumari from Anniyan

Great singing by Shankar, fine gardens of netherlands, excellent costumes for Sada makes this song lovable.

# 3 - Mudhal Kanave from Majnu

Heart warming lyrics, fine costumes for the co-dancers, simple dance movements makes this song viewing experience impressive.

# 4 - Suttum Vizhi from Ghajini

I go for this super catchy tune only for Surya's impressive expressive eye !

# 5 - Manjal Veyil from Vettayadu Vilayadu

This song picturisation was a kind of shocker from what one could have imagined when they listened to audio first ! Simple imagination with dance movements here and there took the song to new heights. Both Kamal and Jo were impressive.

# 6 - Vaigaasi Nilave from Unnale Unnale

I like this song especially for the warrior in search imagination. The dark screen looks good followed by the SPA bath imagination.

# 7 Chellame from Sathyam

How one can tone their bodies for one song.... they worked hard and flaunted it. It looked good too. Lovely music by Harris.

# 8 Ragasiya Kanavugal from Bheema

Simple imagination but I felt Trisha was too cute in this song. She made this song watchable 100 times...

# 9 Mazhai from Ullam Ketkume

This song came in very early days of Harris... fine tune., nice dance movements. Pooja looked sexy in this impressive song picturised on plain ambience.

# 10 Vaseegara from Minnale

All time excellent song from Harris., picturisation was not great just bcoz of stupid hair designs of Reema. Otherwise, watchable video.

I conciously avoided selecting multiple songs from the same movie, otherwise another song from Anniyan - nokia would have figured on this list. Likewise, i avoided Ayan as i am yet to watch that movie.

Enjoy folks.

MP slaps bank manager

Wow...

Check this out...source timesnow....

Protests over bank manager's assault

1 Jul 2009, 1438 hrs IST

In a reaction to MP Jagannatham slapping a bank manager, employees from the bank have hit the streets in Andhra Pradesh. Around 77 branches of the Andhra Pradesh Grameen Vikas Bank in northern Andhra's Mehbubnagar district have stopped work and are holding dharnas in the town.

The bank employees are demanding an unconditional apology from MP M Jagannatham as a pre-condition to starting work.

"We are organising protests in 8 districts. Other PSU banks like SBI, Andhra Bank have expressed solidarity with us. We are submitting a memorandum to the Mahabubnagar district
Collector.

We will send the copies of the memorandum to UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi, Prime Minister, Lok Sabha Speaker and also Ethics Committee of Lok Sabha," B Ravikant, president of APRRBEA, told news agencies.

The Association demands that the MP express apology for his action, withdraw the "false" case filed against the bank manager under the stringent Prevention of Atrocities against SC/STs and create a congenial atmosphere for the bank employees to function, he said.

Meanwhile, the Association has stopped disbursal of crops loans and loans sanctioned under various government schemes, Ravikant said.

The Association would hold an emergency meeting on July 5 to decide the future course of action over the issue, he added.

The MP, meanwhile, has refused to apologise. He has proposed a probe into the affair, and if found guilty has promised to apologise.

"He challenged me to come to the bank. I wanted to put my hand on his shoulder but he pulled back. In the process, my hand happened to touch his cheek," Jagannath told reporters.

He said he did not intend to slap the bank manager who, he said, was not disbursing loan amounts to the SC/ST beneficiaries.

Jagannath allegedly slapped Ravinder Reddy, manager of a local branch of Andhra Pradesh Grameen Vikas Bank, for not releasing the loan amount to SC/ST beneficiaries for the last six months at Uppununtala in Mahabubnagar district on Monday.

The MP alleged that the manager gave an improper reply when he called him up during a meeting of the mandal officials and public representatives to find out the reasons for not distributing the loans.

King of Pop

Wake up and switch on the TV - Breaking News says King of Pop passes away...

I was struck with immediate thought of MJ performing Moon Walk.... then, black and white, beat it, the way you make me feel or the majestic thriller ....

He was truly a king of pop., beyond age he attracted crowds for the london show some time back.... No celebrity's personal life went unexplored - so was with MJ.

We will miss you forever.
