VAIKO arrested again !!!!
Funny, if he is guilty, what about the 100s who spoke similar tone in Rameswaram from film fraternity?
If congress is pleased with this arrest, sad on them. If DMK thinks they can split the AIADMK Alliance through this move, best of luck.
For normal public, forget this nonsense, and enjoy your Diwali preparations
This blog will express views on Indian Stock Market, Wit, Chennai, Travel, Reflections, Current affairs, Music, Movies and photography. Chandrayaan
I have two views on this successful launch !
I feel proud definitely for our science community. They have done a good job.
At the same time, i am unhappy with government for not creating good infrastructure. I have to travel 3kms by spending 45m in water logged road. What is proud for this government to feel... i cant make out !

Veteran movie director Sridhar passes away
I pay my tributes the finest director, writer of yester years.... The Great Sridhar...
The man behind.... screen play of Uthamaputhiran, introduction of J Jayalalitha into movies, director of blockbusters like kadhalikka neramillai, Ooty varai uravu, Kalyana parisu, sivantha mann etc...
His story telling is highly simplified, screen play evenly divided into comedy, emotion, songs etc.
Directors like K Bhagyaraj, P Vasu never hidden their affinity to Sridhar. May his soul rest in peace.

Yuvvraaj - Music Review
Album - Yuvvraaj
Music By - A R Rahman
Overall Rating - Must Listen for traditional music lovers
1. Shano ( Remix ) - 4.5/5 - Peppy western remix, instantly catchy
2. Manmohini Morey By Shreya Ghosal, Vijay Prakash - 5/5 - you will love this hindustani song without tabla's sound !!!
3. Mastam Mastam By Sonu Nigam, Alka Yagnik, Naresh, Benny - 3/5 - Catchy ballad
4. Zindagi By Srinivas - 3/5 - Soft melody - Luka chuppi hangover, not catchy
5. Shano Shano By Sonu Nigam, Srinivas, Kartik, Timmy, Sunaina, Vivienne Pocha, Tina - 3.5/5 - Peppy tune with good tempo, some funny vocals in between;
6. Tu Muskura By Alka Yagnik, Javed Ali - 3.5/5 - 80s feel, good singing but not catchy, end alaap is damn good
7. Dil Ka Rishta By AR Rahman, Roop Kumar Rathod, Sonu Nigam - 3.5/5 - western classical arrangement, excellent tempo maintained throughout the song with lot of humming, alaap as fusion
8. Tu Meri Dost Hain By Benny Dayal, AR Rahman, Shreya Ghosal - 5/5 - Excellent melody, grand music arrangement, good singing
What I liked:
1. Rahman's orchestration turned out to be outstanding and hit a new high of his career example tu meri dost hain song or dil ka rishta song or zindagi song
2. Rahman's interpretation of hindustani sound in Manmohini song - truly exceptional and demonstrates his control over music as composer
3. Shano - Listen to Normal tune and remix tune - Rahman has once again exposed varying tempo remixes of mindless composers
What I didnt Like
1. I like 80s music, but somehow Rahman's 80s interpretation or feel is not instantly catchy or appealing

Jet...Set...Go..Comeback...
The entire Jet sacking of its employees exposes the following:
1. Lack of transparency in the way company operates, predicts its business
2. Weak or Non Existent Labor Policy / Exit Policy in India
3. Political overtones on a company's function
4. Where will the sacked employees for grievance?
5. Non Existing bail out package from government in weak economic scenario when compared to developed countries to companies
6. Warning signal for IT companies - how to handle the crisis when their turn comes !

Dont believe our Finance Minister P Chidambaram
Dont take CRR cuts blindly and buy bank stocks. Why no one in our country questioning the current interest rates including the great Deepak Parikh?
It is the same minister who mislead the whole country during budget reply in parliament and claimed economy is in good state, low inflation, GDP growth of 9% etc... He is totally caught on the wrong foot and he and his team failed to read the economic signals.
They are trying to hide something, it is better to reveal the problems than hide !

Srilanka's war on LTTE
Sri Lanka's war on LTTE is on its last leg. They had set December 2008 as target to wipe out LTTE and working towards it.
In Tamil Nadu, politicians are shedding crocodile tears on this war. DMK is desperately trying to divert attention from power crisis, ram setu and bad governance. They dont really care for Tamil Eelam or tamil civilians.
Sri Lankan government must ensure that medical aids, food reach northern lanka for civilian's benefit. LTTE chief must be wiped out and it can happen this time.
