Charanam 1
nandrum varalam theedhum varalam
nanban poley kannan varuvaan
valiyum varalaam vaattam varalaam
varudum viralaai kannan varuvaan
good things might come evil things might come
Lord krishna would come like a friend
Pain might come tiresome might come
Lord krishna would come to supprt with combing finger
ner kodu vattam aagalam
nizhal kooda vittu pogalaam
thaaladha thunbam nergayil
thaayaga kannan maaruvaan
Straight line could become a circle
even one's shadow might try to avoid
when everything breaks down
Lord Krishna would like a mother
avan varuvaan kannil mazhai thudaippan
irul vazhhigalile pudhu oli vidhaippan
andha kannanai
azhagu mannanai
dhinam paadi vaa
varudhey
Lord will come and will swipe the tears from eye
and would bring light while in dark passages
always present a beautiful song
to That Lord Krishna
King of Beauty
enna kurayo enna nirayo
edherkum naan undenbaan kannan
Kannan (5)
Charanam 2
undu enalaam illai enalaam
iradum kettu kannan sirippan
inaindhu varalaam pirindhum tharalaam
uravai poley kannan iruppaan
Things may exist, Things may not exist
Lord krishna would laugh at both versions
Can come jointly can come separately
Lord krishna would exist like a relationship
pani moottam malayai moodalaam
vazhi kettu paravai paadalaam
pudhira kelvi yaadhilum
vidayaga kannan maaruvaan
fog can cover the mountain
bird can sing and enquire abt the path
Lord krishna would come as answer in a riddle
olinthiruppan engum nirainthiruppan
avan isai mazhaiyaai enai udan inaippaan
He might hide himself He might be omnipresent
he might include us with shower of music
andha kannanai
kanivu mannanai
dhinam paadi vaa
malarey
always present a beautiful song
to That Lord Krishna
King of kindness

Welcome nandoo. Your blog is also nice.
ReplyDeletevery good lyrics.....thanks for posting them
ReplyDeletein 2nd charanam, its "avan isai mazhaiyaai ulaginai alipaan",
ReplyDeleteinstead of "avan isai mazhaiyaai enai udan inaippaan".
also, i guess its "manamey" and not malarey or varudhey, at the end of both charanam.
plz correct me if im wrong
