Yuvvraaj - Music Review

Album - Yuvvraaj
Music By - A R Rahman
Overall Rating - Must Listen for traditional music lovers

1. Shano ( Remix ) - 4.5/5 - Peppy western remix, instantly catchy
2. Manmohini Morey By Shreya Ghosal, Vijay Prakash - 5/5 - you will love this hindustani song without tabla's sound !!!
3. Mastam Mastam By Sonu Nigam, Alka Yagnik, Naresh, Benny - 3/5 - Catchy ballad
4. Zindagi By Srinivas - 3/5 - Soft melody - Luka chuppi hangover, not catchy
5. Shano Shano By Sonu Nigam, Srinivas, Kartik, Timmy, Sunaina, Vivienne Pocha, Tina - 3.5/5 - Peppy tune with good tempo, some funny vocals in between;
6. Tu Muskura By Alka Yagnik, Javed Ali - 3.5/5 - 80s feel, good singing but not catchy, end alaap is damn good
7. Dil Ka Rishta By AR Rahman, Roop Kumar Rathod, Sonu Nigam - 3.5/5 - western classical arrangement, excellent tempo maintained throughout the song with lot of humming, alaap as fusion
8. Tu Meri Dost Hain By Benny Dayal, AR Rahman, Shreya Ghosal - 5/5 - Excellent melody, grand music arrangement, good singing

What I liked:

1. Rahman's orchestration turned out to be outstanding and hit a new high of his career example tu meri dost hain song or dil ka rishta song or zindagi song
2. Rahman's interpretation of hindustani sound in Manmohini song - truly exceptional and demonstrates his control over music as composer
3. Shano - Listen to Normal tune and remix tune - Rahman has once again exposed varying tempo remixes of mindless composers

What I didnt Like

1. I like 80s music, but somehow Rahman's 80s interpretation or feel is not instantly catchy or appealing
